Cleveland dominates as Cincinnati opens Paul Brown Stadium. The Browns sack Akili Smith 7 times and force him into a pair of INTs and a fumble to scuttle the Bengals' attack.

Tim Couch throws for 259 yards and 2 TDs to lead Cleveland. After Cincinnati ties it 7-7 early in the 2nd quarter, Couch answers with a 5-yard TD pass to Mark Campbell. Couch extends the lead to 17 with a 5-yard TD pass to Marc Edwards in the 4th quarter.
