Schumacher weathers wet and dry conditions to grab the lead early and out-battle Mika Hakkinen until Hakkinen's Mclaren flames out with a failed engine. Ferrari teammate Rubens Barrichello then takes the 2nd spot, with Jordan's Heinz-Harald Frentzen joining them on the podium.
