Schumacher, who had not won since Canada, fends off Williams' Juan Pablo Montoya in the early laps to put his Ferrari in front. The win over Montoya's 2nd place finish keeps Schumacher's narrow lead in the points race, improving to a 3-point margin. Teammate Rubens Barrichello takes 3rd place.
