Matt Kenseth heads to victory lane after rain shortens the Daytona 500 by 48 laps.

Kenseth learns of the victory while waiting out the rain on pit lane. Kenseth had taken the lead 6 laps prior to the rain stoppage, just moments before Aric Almirola's spin out brought out the caution. The drivers never resumed green glag racing.

Kevin Harvick, who pushed Kenseth to the lead past Elliott Sadler, finishes 2nd, followed by A.J. Allmendinger.
