Sebastian Vettel caps the dramatic vault to the Championship by topping the field in Abu Dhabi.

Vettel leapfrogs competitors Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso to claim his 1st World Championship by going from 3rd place to 1st in the final race of the season. Vettel holds the lead from his pole position, holding of 1 of the Mclarens and also Jenson Button's Mclaren. Then he benefits when pit strategy fails Ferrari's Alonso.

Vettel's teammate Mark Webber never fights himself out of bad track position and finishes 8th, 1 spot behind Alonso. Button brings his Mclaren home in 3rd for the final podium spot.
