When predicted rain fails to materialize, Webber's tire choice of hard tires for the last stint, allows the Aussie to chase down Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and overtake him for his 2nd win of the season, and second career title at Silverstone. Alonso holds off Webber's Red Bull teammate Sebastian Vettel for 2nd place, with Ferrari's Felipe Massa holding onto to a surprising 4th place finish.
