Race Notes

Nico Rosberg christens Formula 1's era of eco-stupidy with a win.

Rosberg's Mercedes dominates the field in the 1st race of F1's V6, hybrid, fuel-conservation era. Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo finishes 2nd, becoming the 1st Aussie to stand on the podium Down Under, but the result is stripped due to a failed fuel regulator, another symbol of F1's stupid eco-friendly push. Rookie Kevin Magnussen finishes 3rd for McLaren in his debut race.

Reliability issues deplete the field of some stars, including 4-time World Champ Sebastian Vettel, as teams struggle with the new engines. Sadly, the engines sound like lawnmowers, and drivers worry about saving fuel instead of being F1's historic representation of power, speed, and performance, proving that NO good can ever come from appeasing idiot liberals and eco-wussies.
