Race Notes

Nico Rosberg is handed an easy win when a Red Flag reshuffles the strategies.
Rosberg's win is Mercedes 33rd in 39 races (Hello F1 time to fix this instead of having only Rosberg and his assh*le teammate battling for the win race in, race out.) Rosberg's strategy pays off when Fernando Alonso and Esteban Gutierrez have a forceful collision bringing out the Red Flag.

Sebastian Vettel had been in easy control of the race before the stoppage changed the effectiveness of Ferrari's strategy. A fouled up pit stop costs Vettel over 3 seconds, which would have allowed him to at least salvage a 2nd place instead of 3rd.

American-owned Haas makes their F1 debut with surprising success, while Gutierrez's day ends early, Romain Grosjean comes home in 6th, becoming the 1st team to score in the points in its debut race since Toyota finished 6th in 2002. Haas is the 1st American team on the grid in 30 years.
