After Boston College scores a TD on its 1st possession, its all Miami as they score the final 52 points, the rout punctuated by punt return TDs of 85 and 87 yards by Santana Moss and Darryl Jones, respectively. Ken Dorsey throws for 252 yards and 5 TDs to lead the Canes.

Trailing 6-3 at the start of the 2nd quarter, Miami gets 3 TD passes from Dorsey in the 2nd quarter. Moss catches 5 passes for 64 yards and 2 TDs, while also becoming the Canes' all-time punt return yardage leader, breaking a 64-year old record.
