Florida State erases and 15-12 deficit and then holds off a Georgia Tech rally late. After George Godsey hits 12 straight passes, drawing the Jackets within striking distance his final 2 passes fall incomplete as Tech's threat dies with 1:30 left.

Chris Weinke throws for 443 yards and 2 TDs, including a 30-yarder to Robert Morgan w/ 12:58 left to give the Noles a 19-15 lead. Godsey hits Jon Muyres with a 27-yard TD pass to pull Georgia Tech within 26-21 to put FSU's 14-game winning streak in jeopardy.
