Clemson dominates the 3rd quarter, breaking open a 14-10 game with a 35-0 run, highlighted by 4 TDs in the 3rd. Woodrow Dantzler throws for 218 yards and 4 TDs, and runs for 57 yards to lead the Tigers in the rout of Louisiana Tech.

Bernard Rambert, a suspension replacement, rushes for 101 yards and 1 TD, and adds 3 catches for 77 yards, including a 62-yard TD reception in the 3rd quarter outburst. Dantzler's 53-yard TD pass to Roscoe Crosby gives Clemson a 14-10 lead in the 2nd quarter, and then Dantzler starts the 2nd half with a 5-yard TD pass to Ben Hall followed by the 62-yarder to Rambert breaking the game open.
