The Hurricanes build a 17-0 lead on the strength of Harris' 23-yard TD pass to Leonard Hankerson and James' 5-yard TD run. However, Miami needs a big play from its defense when Jared Campbell causes an errant pass to be intercepted by Colin McCarthy after Central Florida has 1st-and-goal at the 2 after closing the gap to 17-7 in the 3rd quarter.
