Virginia Tech scores the final 23 points after breaking a 14-14 tie. Ryan Williams rushes for 117 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Hokies.

After Williams stakes Virginia Tech to a 14-0 lead with a pair of TD runs, Tennessee draws even with 14 points late in the 1st half. However, after Jonathan Crompton hits Denarius Moore with a tying 2-yard TD pass w/ :18 left in the 2nd quarter, the Hokies are able to get a go-ahead 21-yard FG by Matt Waldron on the final play of the half. The 2nd half is all Virginia Tech.
