Cincinnati outgains Cleveland 400-to-211 with the Browns gaining many on a final TD drive in the final 2 minutes. The Bengals rush for 199 yards, dominating with ball-control offense.

The Browns turn a Cincinnati miscue into a 7-3 lead when Tim Couch hits Kevin Johnson on 1st play after taking over on the Bengals' 30. However, the Cleveland offense stalls out until the final minutes while Cincinnati slowly takes control. Jon Kitna's 5-yard TD pass to Darnay Scott puts the Bengals ahead in the 3rd quarter.
