Mike Holmgren's strategy backfires when Rian Lindell misses a 28-yard FG w/ 1:56 to play that would have cut Miami's lead to 1 and set up and onside kick and potential final FG drive. After Lindell hooks his kick, the Dolphins then run out the clock as Seattle never touches the ball again.

Its a day of good breaks for the Dolphins, earlier Travis Minor falls on a Jay Fiedler fumble in the end zone for a TD. Fiedler shakes off the fumble and 2 INTs, to hit James McKnight with a 39-yard TD pass to give Miami a 24-20 lead with 6:16 to play.
