Dolphins hold off the Falcons for 21-14 win and playoff berth.

Miami survives a furious Atlanta rally thanks to a pair of goalline stands that help the Dolphins clinch a playoff spot while eliminating the Falcons. Zach Thomas stops Maurice Smith at the 1 on 4th down, late in the 3rd quarter and then Bob Christian is stopped at the one twice in the final 2 minutes to preserve the win.

Travis Minor and the defense bail out another weak game by Jay Fiedler. Minor rushes for 33 yards and catches 7 passes for 65 yards and a TD to carry the offense. Brock Marion returns a pick 26 yards for a TD to tie the game 7-7 in the 1st quarter. After Minor's 17-yard TD catch and run, Oronde Gadsden catches a 2-yard TD pass from Fielder following an Atlanta turnover late in the 1st half for a 21-7 lead.
