Jets stop the Patriots for 10-3 win.

Defense prevails with 2 key turnovers as New York defeats New England and ushers in the Tom Brady era when Drew Bledsoe is knocked from the game in the 4th quarter. Curtis Martin rushes for 106 yards and 1 TD to carry the Jets' attack.

But its defense that reigns for New York. Aaron Glenn picks off Bledsoe at the 7, setting the stage for a 93-yard drive culminated by Martin's 8-yard TD run. New England reaches the Jets' 7 in the 3rd quarter before losing a fumble, and Bledsoe has the Patriots inside the 10 in the 4th quarter before being picked off by James Farrior. Shortly after Bledsoe takes a hard shot and finishes the game on the sideline with Brady taking snaps.
