Drew Brees hits Reche Caldwell with a 2-yard TD pass w/ :14 left to win it after San Diego starts the 4th quarter trailing 24-14 thanks to 5 turnovers. However, Curtis Conway scores on an 11-yard run and Brees tosses a pair of TD passes as the Chargers rally by Kansas City.

After Trent Green answers Conway's TD run with a 3-yard TD toss to Tony Gonzalez, Brees leads San Diego on a drive for an 11-yard TD pass to Tim Dwight on the ensuing possession. Morten Andersen's 43-yard FG gives the Chiefs a 34-28 lead to protect on the final drive.

Brees hits Conway on 2 big completions on the final possession, leading San Diego to the winning score.
