Brunell suffers a concussion in the 1st half and while Jacksonville's offense struggles to get going, Tennessee finds its winning ways behind Steve McNair and Eddie George. McNair throws for 226 yards and 1 TD while George rushes for 113 yards and 1 TD and also catches a TD.

George catches an 8-yard TD pass from McNair in the 1st quarter, but after several Tennessee drives stall, resulting in FGs, the Jaguars are able to pull within 16-14 on David Garrard's 2nd TD run. However, the Titans respond with a 14-play drive, eating 7:46 off the clock before George scores on 4th-and-goal from the 1 with 8:07 to play.
