Chad Pennington throws for 285 yards and 3 TDs, helping New York answer after New England draws even 17-17 in the 3rd quarter. After John Hall's 23-yard FG regains the lead for the Jets, Pennington hits Wayne Chrebet for a 15-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter for a 27-17 edge.

Pennington sparks New York early with a pair of TD passes in the 1st quarter, however, the Patriots stay close with an 87-yard kickoff return for a score by Kevin Faulk. New England struggles offensively for much of the night, but puts together a solid drive, resulting in Tom Brady's 6-yard TD pass to Christian Fauria to tie it 17-17.
