Raiders hold off the Jets for a 26-20 win.

Oakland turns back New York despite 2 rallies by the Jets. Oakland dominates early, but falls behind 10-6 after Chad Pennington hits Jerald Sowell with a 6-yard TD pass as part of a 10-point surge at the end of the 1st half.

The Raiders recover and go up 20-10 on a 26-yard TD pass from Rich Gannon to Jerry Rice and a 1-yard TD plunge by Zack Crockett. However, Pennington rallies New York, and it takes an INT by Rod Woodson on the final play to preserve the victory.

Tim Brown catches 8 passes for 90 yards, surpassing the 1,000-catch mark for his career in the process. Gannon throws for 342 yards, topping the 300-yard mark for the 9th time of the season.
