Rich Gannon completes a 1-game record 21 straight passes and finishes 34-of-38 for 352 yards and 3 TDs as Oakland snaps a 4-game losing streak. However, its a Denver pass that turns the tide permanently.

Trailing 3-0, the Broncos drive inside the Oakland 10 before Rod Woodson picks off Brian Griese and returns it 98 yards for the score. Gannon hits Jerry Rice with a 6-yard TD pass for a 21-7 lead late in the 1st half, and Rice's 200th career TD. Rice catches 9 passes for 103 yards and 2 TDs.
