Game Notes

Colts complete an amazing comeback in OT, beating the Bucs 38-35.

Down by 21 points w/ less than 4 minutes to play, Indianapolis strikes for 3 TDs and then wins on Mike Vanderjagt's 29-yard FG 11:23 into overtime. James Mungro's 3-yard TD run starts the comeback and Peyton Manning follows with a 28-yard TD pass to Marvin Harrison before Ricky Williams ties it with a 1-yard TD run w/ :35 left in regulation.

Manning finishes 34-of-47 for 386 yards and 2 TDs. However, for much of the night, the game belonged solidly to Tampa Bay. Brad Johnson throws for 318 yards and 3 TDs, and even the bounces go the Bucs' way as Mike Doss' INT of Johnson turns into a fumble that Keenan McCardell picks up and races 57 yards for a score. McCardell also had TD catches of 74 yards and 15 yards and Ronde Barber returns an INT 29 yards for a TD and 35-14 lead w/ 5:09 left in the game.
