Baltimore wins despite being outgained by San Diego 389-to-249. Kyle Boller throws for just 98 yards, but only tosses 1 INT, while San Diego's Drew Brees is picked 3 times. Jamal Lewis carries what passes for offense by the Ravens, running for 132 yards and 1 TD.

The Ravens get on the board in an unconventional manner as Alan Ricard picks up a fumble by Lewis and takes it in 50 yards for a score and 7-3 lead. Boller hits Todd Heap with a 25-yard TD pass and Lewis adds a 7-yard TD run to build a 24-3 lead for Baltimore.
