Rams slip by the erring Raiders for 20-14, wrapping up the NFC West.

Oakland turns it over 6 times, but still manages to grab a 14-13 lead on a 21-yard TD pass from Kenny Stabler to Dave Casper late in the 4th quarter. Despite a game filled with Raiders' miscues, Los Angeles' mistakes make the way for the score, with an offsides on 4th down continuing the drive, and then another penalty negating an INT.

However, the Rams immediately answer as they drive back for the winning score on a 43-yard TD pass from Pat Haden to Harold Jackson who gets open deep behind Lester Hayes. Haden is an efficient 13-of-22 for 186 yards and 1 TD, while Stabler throws for 194 yards but also tosses 4 INTs, including 2 picked off by Monte Jackson.

Lawrence McCutcheon leads the Rams' attack, rushing for 97 yards while catching 4 passes for 63 yards.
