Everything goes right for the 1-12 Bengals, everything goes wrong for 8-5 Atlanta paving the way for the upset. Cincinnati forces 3 turnovers, returning 2 for TDs in the 3rd quarter to turn a 10-7 halftime lead into a 23-7 edge.

The Bengals lose Ken Anderson to injury late in the 1st half, but it doesn't matter as Scott Perry and Dick Jauron return 2 INTs for scores. Pete Johnson runs for a pair of TDs, including a 50-yarder in the 4th quarter as Cincinnati breaks the game open.
