Colts defeat the Redskins 21-17 on MNF as Bert Jones battles through a painful shoulder injury.

Jones spends most the night grimacing, but makes Washington feel the pain with 3 TD passes. Jones goes 10-of-19 for 191 yards while the Redskins hurt themselves with 4 turnovers.

Washington takes a 10-0 lead, but Jones gets Baltimore into the game with a 19-yard TD pass to Reese McCall in the 2nd quarter, and then a 78-yard TD connection with Roger Carr on the 1st series of the 2nd half gives the Colts the lead.

The Redskins regain the lead on John Riggins' 1-yard TD run, but Jones and Carr answer again, hooking up for a 27-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter.
