Tampa Bay @ Baltimore

Network: CBS
Announcers: Lindsey Nelson, Paul Hornung
Format: DVD (4 disks)
Quality: 7.25
Notes: Includes commercials, halftime and NFL Today... First DVD is great except for some tracking during 1st half of the NFL Today... However, pic quality drops significantly about 20 minutes into the 2nd disk... 3 DVD has a LOT of vertical bounce/shake to the point dramamine or aspirin is suggested... shake isn't as bad on the final disk. Picture quality is up on 3rd and 4th DVDs, but not to the level of the 1st DVD... quality reflects much poorer pic on 2nd DVD and shake on 3rd and 4th DVDs.

Game Notes

Bucs slip by the Colts in OT 29-26.

Tampa Bay digs out of a big early hole, only to lose the lead late, forcing OT. The Bucs win it on Neil O'Donoghue's 31-yard FG, on the 1st play after Randy Crowder forces a fumble by Greg Landry. Its a fitting finish for a game defined by turnovers (9), mistakes (21 penalties, 216 penalty yards and 3 missed PATs).

Baltimore jumps in front on the strength of a TD run and TD catch by Don Hardeman in the 1st quarter after 3 Tampa Bay turnovers. The Bucs rally, going ahead 20-17 on Mark Washington's 49-yard return of an INT early in the 4th quarter.

Tampa Bay extends the lead on Doug Williams' 36-yard TD pass to Gordon Jones, and the Bucs have a chance to putting the game away when Williams tosses a bad INT, starting the Colts' rally.
