Patriots shut down the Broncos for a 23-14 win on MNF.

New England dominates the 2nd half to rally past Denver. Steve Grogan's 45-yard TD pass to Stanley Morgan in the 3rd quarter gives the Patriots a 17-14 lead.

Grogan hits 17-of-24 for 209 yards to lead New England, with Vagas Ferguson and Don Calhoun combining for 123 yards and 1 TD on the ground. The Broncos get an early lead on a 17-yard TD pass from Matt Robinson to Haven Moses in the first quarter, and later go up 14-10 on Otis Armstrong's 8-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter. But Denver manages just 170 yards on offense.
