Vikings stun the Browns 28-23.

Tommy Kramer's 46-yard "Hail Mary" to Ahmad Rashad on the final play caps an improbable comeback and clinches the NFC Central for Minnesota while keeping Cleveland from clinching a playoff spot. Minnesota covers 80 yards in 14 seconds on 2 plays with no timeouts to snatch victory away from the Browns. Kramer hits Joe Senser, who then laterals to Ted Brown resulting in a 34-yard gain before Brown goes out of bounds to stop the clock.

The Browns appeared to have the game secure when Rick Danmaier's PAT following Brown's 7-yard TD reception from Kramer leaves the Vikings trailing by 23-15 late in the 4th quarter. But a strange play call w/ 2:18 to play results in an INT by Bobby Bryant. Minnesota converts the break into a 12-yard TD pass from Kramer to Rashad, 5 plays later.

Kramer hits 38-of-49 for 456 yards and 4 TDs as Minnesota survives 2 missed FGs and 3 missed PATs. Rashad catches 9 passes for 142 yards and 2 TDs.
