Raiders survive mistakes to beat the Redskins 24-21.

Three interceptions of Dan Pastorini bring a concert of boos, and 8 penalties help Washington stay close against Oakland. But the Raiders get enough support from the running game to combine with 2 TD passes by Pastorini for the win.

Kenny King rushes for 136 yards and Arthur Whittington adds a 42-yard TD run. Whittington's TD gives Oakland a 17-7 lead in the 3rd quarter. Despite a poor day, Pastorini steps up with a 5-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter for a 24-14 lead.
