Chicago blitzes Cincinnati with 21 points in the 1st quarter and never looks back. Jim McMahon runs for the 1st score, a 1-yard sneak, and then adds 2 of his 3 TD passes, the 2nd, a 53-yard bomb to Willie Gault.

McMahon finishes 13-of-21 for 211 yards in his return to the lineup, departing after hitting Emery Moorehead for a 20-yard TD pass and 31-7 lead early in the 3rd quarter. The Bears sack Cincinnati QBs 4 times and force 5 INTs.
