New York puts a stop to Denver's offense and unbeaten start. The Jets jump in front quickly, and rely on 5 sacks, 3 turnovers and countless holding calls to stifle the Broncos.

New York struggles offensively as well, but the repeated short fields are enough as Johnny Hector scores on a 1-yard TD run and Pat Leahy hits a pair of FGs for a 13-0 lead. After Ken O'Brien hits Wesley Walker for a 23-yard TD pass late in the 2nd quarter, Bobby Humphrey 'sacks" John Elway for a safety after a fast whistle.
