Patriots whip the Dolphins 34-7.

New England picks Dan Marino 3 times, including a pair by Ronnie Lippett, and the Patriots are never challenged by Miami. Lippett intercepts Marino to end the 1st series, setting the tone as Tony Franklin hits a FG and Tony Eason finds Willie Scott for a 2-yard TD pass and 10-0 lead in the 1st quarter.

Craig James adds a 7-yard TD run and Eason hits Irving Fryar with a 38-yard TD pass before leaving with an injury in the 2nd quarter. Stanley Morgan catches 6 passes for 125 yards, including a 27-yard TD catch from Steve Grogan for a 34-0 lead in the 4th quarter.
