Falcons frustrate Dolphins in a 20-14 win.

Atlanta's defense thwarts Dan Marino and Miami, forcing 4 interceptions while making a ball-control offense work. Gerald Riggs rushes for 172 yards and 1 TD on 31 carries to power the Falcons.

Riggs scores on a 1-yard TD run in the 1st quarter, and Atlanta builds a 10-0 lead by halftime. Marino, who throws for 303 yards, gives Miami a spark with a 54-yard TD pass to Mark Duper early in the 3rd quarter, but the Dolphins are unable to build any momentum and fall behind 20-7 before a late score.
