Houston welcomes back Warren Moon and sends Pittsburgh to its 6th straight loss. Moon, making his 1st appearance since the opening game, hits 11 of 19 for 174 yards and 2 TDs, with Ernest Givins catching 5 passes for 104 yards and 1 TD.

The Oilers get a 2-yard TD run from Mike Rozier to cap the opening drive and add a FG and a safety before Moon hits Givins for a 43-yard TD pass and 18-0 lead in the 2nd quarter. Houston blocks 2 punts, 1 resulting in the safety and the other setting up Allen Pinkett's 1-yard TD run for a 25-7 lead in the 3rd quarter.
