Eagles prevail over the Oilers 13-6 in a brutal defensive battle.

Philadelphia forces 4 fumbles and Warren Moon drops 2 perfect snaps, resulting in 5 turnovers. The Eagles also sack Moon, and KO Ernest Givins and Drew Hill (twice) as Moon leads them into safeties waiting to deliver hits.

Houston is equally unforgiving, though is unable to force turnovers or deliver the brutal hits that Philadelphia does. The Eagles struggle to move the ball, and Jim McMahon is sidelined with a sore elbow. But replacement Jeff Kemp does lead a short TD drive, leading to a 21-yard TD pass to Keith Jackson in the 3rd quarter, and a time-consuming drive for a FG in the 4th quarter, that eats up over 9 minutes.
