Game Notes

Dan Marino, Dolphins rally for 19-17 win over the Seahawks.

Marino returns briefly after missing 2 plays due to a concussion, in order to throw a 15-yard TD pass to Freddie Banks in the final 2 minutes to lift Miami to the win. Marino, who suffered 3 INTs, throws for 254 yards, but departs after the winning TD pass.

Seattle had appeared poised for the upset when Miami drives stall resulting in 4 FGs by Pete Stoyanovich, and a Marino INT sets up the Seahawks for a go-ahead TD in the 4th quarter. After Terry Wooden picks Marino deep in Miami territory, John L. Williams runs in from 4 yards out for a 17-12 lead in the 4th quarter.
