Kansas City wins its 8th straight over its rival as Barry Word and Christian Okoye combine for 160 yards rushing, and Dave Krieg runs for a pair of TDs. Los Angeles falls to 0-4, the franchise's worst start since 1963.

The Raiders had started well, going up on Eric Dickerson's 40-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter. But Los Angeles manages just 50 yards rushing beyond that carry and never threatens. The Chiefs stretch out a 10-7 lead in the 4th quarter when Krieg runs for his 2nd TD and Charles Mincy seals the outcome with a 25-yard INT return for a TD.
