Dolphins lose big time, but still take a 24-14 win over the Browns.

Dan Marino tears an Achilles tendon, and Miami also loses John Offerdahl to injury. But Scott Mitchell overcomes a terrible 1st play to rally the Dolphins past Cleveland.

After losing Marino for the season, Miami sees Mitchell's 1st pass picked off by Reggie Rutland and returned 97 yards for a TD and 14-10 lead. However, Mitchell then comes back in the 2nd half to hit Tony Martin with a 19-yard TD pass and Keith Jackson with a 3-yard TD toss in the 3rd quarter. Mitchell goes 10-of-16 for 118 yards while the Dolphins' defense holds the Browns to 202 total yards.
