Game Notes

Seahawks get defensive to beat the Bengals 19-10.

Seattle gets a defensive TD, set up by special teams, and 4 FGs by John Kasay to top Cincinnati.

The Seahawks move the ball but stall out, resulting in 3 FGs by Kasay to open a 9-0 lead. Meanwhile, Doug Pelfrey misses a pair of FGs before finally getting the Bengals on the board in the 4th quarter. Jay Schroeder's 21-yard TD pass to Carl Pickens puts Cincinnati in the lead.

But the game turns when Michael Bates downs a punt at the 2, and the Harold Green fumbles trying to avoid a safety on the next play and Rod Stephens recovers it for a TD. Kasay's 4th FG seals the win.
