Bears nip the Dolphins 17-14.

Kevin Butler hits a 40-yard FG with :59 left, and then James Williams blocks Pete Stoyanovich's 46-yard FG attempt w/ :07 remaining to seal Chicago's 1st win in Miami. The 2 plays cap a big special teams day for the Bears. Curtis Conway scrambles on a fake FG attempt before tossing downfield where Albert Fontenot tips a pass into Keith Jennings' waiting hands before he carries it in for a 23-yard TD pass and 7-3 lead in the 1st quarter.

Chicago manages to play ball control for much of the game, extending its lead to 14-6 on Lewis Tillman's 1-yard TD run in the 4th quarter. However, Dan Marino, who throws for 289 yards, rallies Miami, connecting with Keith Jackson on a 11-yard TD pass that's followed by a successful 2-point conversion to tie it.
