New Orleans is able to get its 1st win with the aid of 5 Miami turnovers. The Saints convert 3 fumbles and 1 INT into TDs en route to the surprise victory.

Bernie Kosar throws for 368 yards and 3 TDs, starting in place of injured Dan Marino, but New Orleans is able to capitalize on the Dolphins' mistakes which also include a fumbled punt, getting fooled on a fake punt, and roughing the punter late in the 4th quarter while Miami is trying to rally. Jim Everett throws for 242 yards and 4 TDs to lead the Saints.
