Detroit built a 24-10 lead with the help of Houston mistakes, and 2 TD passes by Scott Mitchell, who sets the franchise record with his 27th and 28th of the season. Barry Sanders rushes for 54 yards and 1 TD, becoming the 10th player to rush for 10,000 yards in NFL history.
