Game Notes

Steelers win the final battle between the rivals at historic Cleveland Stadium, 20-17.

Pittsburgh recovers from blowing a 17-3 lead to go ahead on Norm Johnson's 27-year FG. Its the last meeting ever between the original Cleveland Browns, as coward Art Modell is intent on fleeing to Baltimore. A sellout crowd of Browns and Steelers fans rightfully vent toward the gutless bastard.

Neil O'Donnell throws for 251 yards and a TD as Pittsburgh's air attack carries the Steelers to a 17-3 1st half lead. However, the Browns put together two long drives resulting in a Vinny Testaverde TD pass and a Testaverde TD run.
