An AFC East battle of unbeatens takes a sharp turn when Dan Marino departs with a sprained ankle in the 1st half. Miami manages just a pair of FGs by Joe Nedney as Indianapolis' defense shutdown the Dolphins' attack.

The Colts' attack is similarly stagnant with the pedestrian Jim Harbaugh leading it, but they do manage a TD on a 1-yard catch by Ken Dilger.
