New England erases a 21-0 deficit and then stops New York on downs at the Patriots' 11 in the final minute to preserve the win. Drew Bledsoe shakes off a horrible start, 1-of-5 with 2 INTs and a fumble lost, to complete 23 of his last 29 passes for 297 yards and 3 TDs.

The Jets open a 21-0 lead while New England stumbles against the heavy underdogs. However, Bledsoe hits Terry Glenn with a 26-yard TD pass late in the 1st half to awaken the Patriots. New England finally takes the lead on Bledsoe's 2-yard TD pass to Keith Byars with 4:03 left.
