Steelers' strong finish tops the Cowboys 21-17.

Pittsburgh scores 14 points the hard way in the final quarter to capture its 2nd straight title. Trailing 10-7, the Steelers start their rally when Reggie Harrison blocks Mitch Hoopes' punt for a safety and then go ahead on Roy Gerela's 36-yard FG on the ensuing possession. Gerela adds an 18-yard FG after Dallas fumbles on its next series for a 15-10 lead.

Lynn Swann caps his MVP performance, hauling in a 64-yard TD pass from Terry Bradshaw. Swann catches 4 passes for 161 yards, including 2 spectacular catches.

The Cowboys rally, closing to within 21-17 when Roger Staubach hits Percy Howard with a 34-yard TD pass, and they get the ball back with one last chance, but Glen Edwards picks off Staubach on the final play to seal the win.
