Rams wake up in the 2nd half to pull away from the 49ers for a 41-24 win.

San Francisco manages to stay even with St. Louis through the 1st half, but after halftime its the Rams' game. Marshall Faulk has 3 TD runs in the 2nd half, including a 1-yarder in the 3rd quarter that puts St. Louis in front permanently at 24-17. Faulk runs for 134 yards and catches 7 passes for 65 yards, with his 2 TDs in the 4th quarter putting the game away.

Kurt Warner throws for 394 yards and 2 TDs, but also suffers 2 INTs in the 1st half that help the 49ers stay even with the favored Rams. Isaac Bruce catches 8 passes for 188 yards, including a 78-yard TD.
