Chicago withstands a furious rally by Indianapolis win for the 1st time at home. Down 27-0, the Colts draw within 3 on Peyton Manning's 19-yard TD pass to Jerome Pathon w/ 1:36 left. Indianapolis recovers the ensuing onside kick but Roosevelt Colvin forces a fumble to end the rally.

Jim Miller throws for 214 yards and 1 TD in his 1st start for the Bears. After a dominant 1st half, Walt Harris' 35-yard INT return for a TD and 27-0 starts the 2nd half.
